- Why psychology? She’s always been drawn to helping people live better, more fulfilling lives. Her passion for understanding human behavior and mental health keeps her excited to keep learning.
- Training & background: Nicole holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Forensic Psychology, she’s also a professor at the University of Manitoba.
- Outside the clinic: She enjoys crafts like knitting, sewing, and punch rugging, loves gardening, and spends her downtime with her dog.

- Designation: A regulated mental health professional in many Canadian provinces including Manitoba.
- Education: Holds a Master’s degree in clinical psychology
- Scope of Practice: Can assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATE AND A PSYCHOLOGIST?
- Psychological Associate has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
- Psychologists have a PhD in Clinical Psychology
